Who is Ken Llamas?
I built businesses through my 20s. I am building this site for first-gen and Asian American men who are trying to sort out money, work, family, dating, and body pressure while building their own lives in the US.
Why does this site exist?
This site is for the first-gen or Asian American guy trying to sort out money, work, family, dating, and his body while everybody else's expectations are still loud. Those problems can pile up until every choice feels like one giant verdict on your life. I want to pull them apart and make the next decision small enough to examine.
My rule is simple: answer the question first, show the inputs, cite the factual claims, and say where the evidence stops. A lived story stays a lived story. It does not become a promise just because it happened to me.
What experience belongs here?
I will only use past work I am ready to stand behind in public. When a result belongs here, it needs a date, a defined scope, and the part it cannot prove. If a detail puts somebody else's privacy or my current work at risk, it stays out.
What will never appear here?
Private current work, customer records, confidential identifiers, unverified income claims, and borrowed wins stay out. Somebody else's citation cannot become my experience, and one result from my life cannot become a guarantee for yours.
Where should a new reader begin?
Start with The First-Gen Playbook. If the first pressure point is business, open the first 90 days guide and run one small test before you build a bigger identity around the idea.
